How
can numerology change your life? |
I
felt fat, miserable, unlovable, and needed to change
my life
I weighed 211 pounds (at 5' 5") in September, 1996. I caught my
husband of 10 years having his umpteenth affair. My life was consumed
with work and I was completely unfulfilled (it had been two years without
sex). This is my story of how numerology helped rescue me.
With numerology I could clearly see what my heart already knew – at
over 200 pounds, I needed to lose weight. I had no relationship with
myself ; how could I have one with my husband? I felt unlovable.
Then
I discovered numerology.

What
is numerology?
Numerology has
been around for 10,000 years pinpointing individual
challenges, areas of growth, and opportunities.
It is one of many metaphysical studies, but
the one that I find simplest for the average
Joe or Jill to understand, that can give you
a plan for overcoming life’s challenges
and realizing/achieving your dreams!
Numerology is a study
of numbers based on your birthdate and birthname (note:
time and location of birth is NOT needed)
and is believed to have begun its development about the
same time as mathematics.

How
can it help me?
Have you ever
wondered if it was possible to:
• Increase your self-confidence?
• Do you have a problem with excessive alcohol use or some other addictive
trait?
• Do you always end up on the wrong end of your relationships, either past
or present?
• What about shedding that nagging feeling that you just don’t quite
stack up to your co-worker who seems to get all the breaks?
While many of our daily “inadequacies” are
integral to our personalities, we all have the desire,
as well as the ability, to make subtle and/or magnificent
changes in our lives. You are in complete control of how
you choose to walk your life’s journey.
But … how do you begin? I began my journey through
numerology.

My personal numerology analysis
showed I have the number 5 occurring in three calculations
representing my challenge, growth, and maturity areas.
The number 5 represents the process of learning to enjoy
the freedom of life - but with moderation. Moderation!
I’d never known moderation. As a fat person, I knew
was unable to eat "moderately."
I also learned that 1996, in
numerology years, was a good year to work hard, lay foundations,
and that it would be several more years before I had another “easy” year
to diet. I threw myself completely into proper eating,
exercise and life style changes as well as doing extensive
therapy and work with two psychics. It took a year to lose
the weight and I kept most of it off for seven years.
Now I have come full circle in
my journey and I have begun a new cycle in my “1” year
of 2002. Any one who has dieted, knows that we have to
get to the bottom of our emotional issues and eating. So
somebody upstairs decided to throw me a curve ball. In
May of 2002 I hurt my back and was bedridden for five months.
Upon my return to work, I was laid off along with thousands
of other telecom employees. Within two weeks of losing
my job, my marriage ended, and my mom died of cancer. Sad
as all these events were, I now see them as cursed blessings.
The inability to exercise combined
with renewed emotional eating, forced me to review my “stuff” in
even greater detail than before. Stripped naked so to speak,
I learned to face the dark side of my soul and love “all” of
me. Thank gawd this is a playful “3” year with
a dose of frisky love “5” thrown in. With the
advent of online dating, my new life has become a series
of Harlequin Romances.
With numerology I can see the
light at the end of the tunnel and that this is my last
cycle to work my weight (and emotional) issues. Hallelujah!
I have learned much in life and numerology has been my
mirror. The 5 energy that used to be the bane of my existence,
now gives me strength and adventure.

How
does numerology work?
The universe is made up of energy. Everything in it has a unique vibrational
power. These unique vibrations can be grouped into patterns, which can be read
by various means - seasons (spring, summer, fall, winter); biological age (infant,
toddler, child, teenager, adult, senior); hour of the day (sleep, dress, rush
hour, work, eat); astrology (the 12 signs of the zodiac); numerology (the numbers
1-9) to name a few of these patterns. Some patterns we pay attention to without
thinking (seasons) and others like astrology and numerology are off the beaten
path and only a minority of people learn.
A simplistic view of the numerology patterns (your birthday
and name) will tell what type of life you will lead and
how you will express yourself. Think about it – when
you go by John/Jane Smith, Dr. Smith, Daddy/Mommy, or Honey
Bunny; each of these names would carry a different expression
(vibration) of your personality even though you are the
same person. If I had the mousey hair and name Norma Jean
Baker; I would peroxide my hair and change my name to Marilyn
Monroe too. (See her 12 page
Personal Numerology Report to see what a name change can do!)
The basic numbers or patterns that can be seen in the
various numerology calculations (Life Path, Expression.,
Soul Urge, Challenges, Karma, Personal Year, etc.) are:
- Independence, New Beginnings
- Patience, Cooperation
- Creativity, Self-expression
- Structure, Organization
- Freedom, Moderation
- Responsibility of Love
- Spirituality, Mental, Analysis
- Accomplishment, Material Gain
- Humanitarian, Giving, Endings
Each energy or vibration will operate on one of three
different levels – balanced, overbalanced, or under
balanced. For example the #1 energy could be independence,
dominance, or dependence respectively. The trick is to
learn to stand on your on two feet and not lean on anyone
else.
Everyone is given (actually we choose for ourselves, similar
to a college curriculum) what numbers/energies we will
go through life with and what numbers will pop up over
the course of our life. In trying to find equilibrium between
over and under balanced, we bounce back and forth until
we find comfort in the middle ground.
Regardless of whether we are balanced, under or overbalanced;
we are sending out that vibration to the world and attracting
similar energies back in kind. Think of how a magnet works.
One end of a magnet will strongly attract another magnet
and the other end will repel.
Such is the same with life. We will attract a complimentarily
balanced or unbalanced energy / lesson / person into our
life. The choice is always up to you, although not always
consciously.
